Digital product passport and brand experience for a sustainable fashion pioneer redefining transparency.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Fashion speaks, but TwentyFifty makes it reveal its truth. Rooted in Amsterdam, this brand isn’t chasing the appearance of sustainability—it’s embodying it, thread by thread. Every garment carries a story, every fiber a journey, inviting customers to look beyond the surface and into the deeper narrative woven within.

Overview
TwentyFifty is a brand that doesn’t just participate in sustainable fashion—it owns it. Based in Amsterdam, they craft garments that wear their values on their sleeves, quite literally. Every piece has a story, every thread a journey. Their radical commitment to transparency is redefining how people engage with fashion, encouraging customers to see, feel, and experience every part of the production process from raw material to final product.

Define
The challenge
But for too long, that story stayed locked behind factory walls. Their challenge? Crack it open. Let customers see what’s real, not just what’s pretty. The question wasn’t "how do we show sustainability?" It was "how do we make people feel it?"
03
Ideate
Our approach
Most fashion brands sell a vibe. TwentyFifty sells truth. Our mission is to make that truth so vivid it’s impossible to look away. We didn’t want to "tell" the story of production, we wanted people to stand in it. Feel it. See every raw material’s journey, every production milestone, every choice that led to the final product in their hands. This was about flipping transparency from a "feature" into a visceral experience.

Create
The solution
- The Digital Product Passport: Embedded NFC chips and scannable QR codes turn each garment into its own storyteller. Tap it. Scan it. Walk through its world.
- The Truth, Unfiltered: Real production stories. Real data. Real transparency. Every material source, every process, every decision—laid bare.
- Interaction with Intention: Passive browsing wasn’t going to cut it. Every tap, every scan, every swipe had to feel like discovery. Curiosity became the engine.

The Impact
Transparency isn’t a trend for TwentyFifty; it’s a movement. Customers aren’t just buyers anymore. They’re part of the process, moving from "this is nice" to "I see what this means." Every garment becomes a conversation, a tangible link to its origins, inviting customers to see beyond the fabric and into the story it tells
